The Werkbund Skull is made from 3 different types of clay and goes through 3 firing processes to perfectly stabilize and harden the head. No dyes were used. The colour of the head is the natural colour of the different types of clay.
It took 4 months of research and development to make this head. This resulted in a product that perfectly distributes the heat. The sound quality is particularly convincing for all Werkbund products. With the skull head, lotus-like attachments, such as the Amy Smokebox, can be used perfectly.
Each individual Werkbund product is handmade and is therefore unique. As a result, the shape and colour of the head may differ from the illustration. In addition, each head has the Werkbund logo, the initials of the head and a production number.
The Werkbund skull head is built similar to a normal clay head. Fill the flavour loosely to the brim. Then put the smokebox (or other Lotus-like attachments) on your head and smoke with 2 coals. The knobs of the smokebox may touch the flavour. When the head is smoked, you should regulate the heat a little by either taking off the top of the smokebox or continuing to smoke with just one coal. With the skull head from Werkbund, you can smoke comfortably for up to 1.5 hours or more.
